Apparently, some have not received the memo: "Only 5 PUMA diaries/day"

Because there are issues that are important to Democrats, and that acutually effect all Americans, above and beyond all things PUMA, and in an effort to maximize bandwidth utilization, as well as the reputation of MyDD, a memo has been sent out by the super-secret PUMA police!  If you have not received your super-secret PUMA police memo, I will paraphrase.

1.  Only 5 PUMA diaries per day.
2.  PUMA diaries are stupid.
3   If you post a PUMA diary, then you must be __.  (see number 2)
4.  The administrators and participants of this site look forward to the discussion of substantive issues.

'nuff said, puleeze.

Re: Apparently, some have not received the memo: (2.00 / 1)

Denny, you know it won't stop?

Why?

Because the admins DONT want it to stop, if they did they would give us the tools to do so.

So why doesn't everyone who is complaining send Jerome an email and ask that we have some kind of DIARY moderation.

But thats not going to happen, I am 110% convinced that the admin don't beleive this site could survive on issues, so they welcome republican trolls and Democratic Trolls to go to war on their site.

Re: Apparently, some have not received the memo: (2.00 / 1)

I actually agree with you both. Of course it goes both ways, it's prbably a little light in the actual election cycle right now (even with Barack in Iraq and McCain doing his normal flub thing).

I can't say I disagree with you.  However, I believe there is personal responsibility on this site.

Re: Apparently, some have not received the memo: (2.00 / 1)

Ok, then ignore my down thread comment.

I agree with you and everyone else, but to bitch about and try and a "verbal" agreement will get us nowhere.

I dont come here on weekends (dont have the stomach, easier when I Get paid to blog (ie real job))

but say I came in on Monday and wanted to post that rediculous video of that protest in San Fran, I would have gotten annialiated with booing posts from my own comrades on this site.

anyways, forget puma, we need to implore jerome to bring this blog into the 21st centurty.

Maybe thats why he avoided Netroots Nation, maybe he was just embarrassed of the absurd clunkyness of this site.

If I am bored one day I will start googling blogs that are hosted in the world's poorest nations and see how far ahead they are of MYdd.

Re: Apparently, some have not received the memo: (2.00 / 1)

Please, prove #4 to me.

As it was, in the 7-14 day lul between the last primary and when PUMA started building their group of 50 this site was deaaaaaad.

Ask Sricki, she (god bless her) posted every single day.

Student Guy did the same and then gave up.

I refuse to beleive that Jerome wants this site any other way it is then the way it is now, if not I implore him to speak up, as I have never read the word PUMA once in any blog of his.

Mydd caters to the most immature of Democratic activists (which I am a proud to be part of :D  )

I don't know what the deal is (2.00 / 1)

I posted an issue piece a bit ago, and it's recieved almost no attention.  I wandered over to Kos to find a less-content-driven diary on the same subject at the top of the rec list.

Conceding the high ground? (2.00 / 1)

Kinda depressing, considering the average quality of comments on Kos.

I'm so tired of this PUMA stuff (2.00 / 3)

Just saying that we need to have a moritorium on PUMA diaries, pro and con, AFTER a certain point just inspires MORE diaries of that sort in the short term, and doesn't prevent longterm future spamming of PUMA diaries, since people either will have forgotten about the moritorium, or their agenda doesn't accept an end to fostering resentment among Democrats.

I'm exhausted from a long weekend, and my patience with people that even acknowledge the existence of the fifteen dedicated PUMAs out there is wearing thin.  Just make your snarky rebuttal and get out, alright?

Re: Apparently, some have not received the memo: (none / 0)

Denny,

Ok my friend posted within the time limit. Also good attempt at extra credit for taking a slightly different tack.

Also props  for suggesting, like my children and my wife that I am none to bright. You are in pretty good company :)

Not directed toward any individual.  Directed to all as a community.

Sorry, you are not getting off that easy :) Anything anybody post must be taken personally!

Re: Apparently, some have not received the memo: (2.00 / 1)

You know what should be taken personally?  In less than 2 hours, 4 PUMA diaries posted.  I've got a better use of my time, like getting some work done.

First, I hope you know I was kidding. And second, I am starting to regret my diary. Third, work? Obviously I'm avoiding like the plague today.

The diaries directed (2.00 / 2)

at Selfish Obnoxious Whiners, the group SOW, formerly referred to as 'puma', will only stop when folks stop commenting in those diaries.

'Rubbernecker' secondary and tertiary crashes on the interstate will only stop when folks stop being 'rubberneckers'.

Same rule applies here.

Hell's bells, even the GOP didn't have to crucify Eisenhower's record in order to make Reagan their 'saint'. We can have two great ones, you know?
