I think Obama should pick either Hillary or Jim Webb!

I say that because they are the only ones with balls. Solid steel balls. For those newbies Hillary was tested during Bill's impeachment and she is really a very strong person.

I think they are the only ones who are really capable of carrying the electorate. I say that because they are the only ones capable of beating the shit out of McCain.

What is wrong with you people you want Biden, Bayh or Sebelius?
LOL

If you have seen how Hillary campaigned in states like PA, KY and WV when she knew even her best effort would still lose her the nomination, how could you recommend Obama nominate Biden, Bayh, kain or Sebelius.

I think Hillary and Webb or the two real fighters in the Democratic Party. For the VP spot we really need a fighter. Do you guys remember the way Webb confronted Bush. I know of nobody who did that.

I am a Hillary supporter but I would be happy with Hillary or Webb.

I've never understood the obsession with Hillary Clinton's supposed testicles.

I was always told that the testicles were the weakest, most vulnerable part of a man.

Hillary should be glad she doesn't have them.

The "big balls" annalogy stems from their function of producing testosterone, thus inducing aggressive, male-typical behavior.

If they want Hillary to be like a man, why is there all that pride from her being a woman?

Re: I think Obama should pick either Hillary or Ji (none / 0)

They want her to be strong enough for a man, but made for a woman.

I'm figuring about 1440 more... (2.00 / 1)

VP diaries left to go....

72 hours at the max till 5 PM PST Friday.

We can post at least 20 diaries per hour.

Oh, wait, I forgot about the front page.

Hell, we can easily hit 2000 VP diaries before the Text from the Obama camp comes through

On Nov 4th, Barack Obama officially ends the Southern Strategy....

WSB, at this point (2.00 / 1)

I think the possibilities are Wes, HRC, and Sebelius.  I think Sebelius is probably the favorite in my opinion given that Obama may want to reinforce the anti-Washington message with making the announcement in Springfield.  If it were HRC, you would think he would do it in Harlem or in Hope, Arkansas.  With Wes, I have a hard time seeing Wes's office lying about Wes being told that his services were not needed at the convention.

Why would you not name Kaine or Bayh in their respective home states?  I wonder if Obama is going to ask Warner man-to-man tomorrow when he campaigns with him one last time if he'll flip.

No way is he going to name a woman - too much (1.00 / 2)

change for the country and he's never going to name anyone who will make him look weak such as Clinton or Webb...

Help me I'm drowning (2.00 / 1)

Under a pile of VP diaries.

One person's dreamy is another's nightmare :)

Jim Webb took himself out for a reason. (1.00 / 0)

He really can't stand Obama.

Webb doesn't necessarily buy into the notion of "elitism"...but remember, this guy is an old-fashioned patriot (take a read of his book, "Born Fighting"). When he heard Obama babbling about how American yokels can only say "merci beaucoup" when they travel abroad, he turned beet red. And the "bittergate" crap didn't go over too big, either....remember, this is a pistol-packing Senator.

Obama-Webb would be a marriage made in hell...even worse than Obama-Clinton. Just pray that it doesn't happen and forget about it.

Either Webb or Clark (none / 0)

As my two favorites. I still think Clinton would be a mistake. And no, I don't speak out of anomosity.
